You can connect a number in about 10 minutes using Meta's embedded signup.
Before you start
- A phone number not currently active on a personal WhatsApp account
- Admin access to your Meta Business account
- Your business name and website
Steps
- Create your account and open Settings → Connect number.
- Click Connect with Meta and sign in with your Facebook account.
- Select or create your Meta Business and WhatsApp Business account.
- Enter the phone number and verify it via SMS or call.
- Set your display name — this is what customers see.
Once Meta approves (usually minutes), your number is live and you can send your first template.
Troubleshooting
- Number already in use: remove it from the WhatsApp app first, then retry.
- Display name rejected: avoid generic names; use your real brand name.
